ACOUSTIC MONITORING

Thanks to its compatibility with several sound meter types available in the market, WE500+ is used by many companies specialized in the monitoring and collection of acoustic data. According to the used sound meter the device collects and logs different parameters, that range from real-time readings, to average or peak values. With WE500+ it’s possible to define typical ranges: over such ranges it’s to be considered noise pollution, so that notifications are sent in real time to dedicated operators. WE500+ is frequently integrated with the Noise Cloud platform offered by Nethix. Using this service, specifically developed by Nethix, the customer can centrally monitor all the installations deployed in the field, accessing directly the logged data and visualizing graphs and spectrograms in real-time and the list of all critical issues sent by every single device.

WE500+ allows to manage also mobile monitoring stations: the installations are often realized to monitor the acoustic pollution, generated by the traffic or by events that gather high numbers of people, such as concerts, night clubs and others. In such cases the installation is not permanent, but one single device (installed inside a suitable high rate protection case) can be then used many times in different places and for different purposes. The solution normally used for this kind of application, considering the high quantity of data to be managed in very short sampling intervals, is with no doubt the WE500+ with 4G connectivity.
