REMOTE ASSISTANCE TO PLC/INVERTER

The remote control and assistance in all forms and solutions are the most important and fundamental elements of the innovation introduced by Industry 4,0. Through them it’s possible to create the “smart factory”, where the process optimization and a strong reduction of in-field services bring to an important reduction of maintenance and service costs.

We200+ is the solution specifically designed for the remote access and assistance on production plants. It’s frequently used to allow the operator to connect remotely to the PLC, Inverter or HMI panels, in order to perform diagnostics or programming operations, avoiding expensive and time consuming transfers of the technicians. This is possible using the free software Quick Tunnel (compatible with many different operating systems): in few seconds a secure VPN network is made available between the operator’s PC and the WE200+ installed on the machine to be monitored. The operator can thus directly communicate with the PLC, Inverter or HMI Panel, as if they were connected to his PC, avoiding expensive business trips and reducing machine downtimes. The compatibility of WE200+ with PLCs, Inverter and HMI panels has been tested on the field and it’s granted by the fact that the communication between PC and the device to be programmed is transparent, independently from the used communication protocol.
