WE500+ PLC combines the computing power and the connectivity of WE500+ with the advanced functions of the PLC-programming.
The configuration suite allows to use the five main programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structure Text, AWL, Functional Chart): they allow to elaborate advanced logics, in order to fulfill the most demanding requirements of any industrial automated plant.
The PLC functions are integrated with those already available inside WE500+, thus allowing the management of alarm thresholds (with real-time notifications to the operator), the storing of the data acquired from the field and the data delivery to IoT platforms, thanks to the integrated connectivity.
The 5 IEC 61131-3 languages are supported, all data types access and the possibility of debugging in real-time.
Once created the logic, it's possible to transfer it (even remotely) to the WE500+ PLC through the integrated web interface.
The new logic will be executed on the first possible cycle, without affecting the other functions of the device.
WE500+ PLC offers several integrated solutions for accessing the network: ETHERNET, WI-FI, LTE. Different protocols are supported as MQTT, HTTP and FTP.
Data collection and management, thresholds or alarms setting and variables configuration: these functions are available and help shortening the distance between the operator and the machine.
The compatibility with Nethix I/O expanders or any other RTU or TCP/ IP Modbus device allows to enlarge the number of available outputs and inputs.
Thanks to the Hardware, that is suitable to fulfill the requirements of the industrial world, the device is able to perform advanced logics within a reduced time cycle.
The programming Software allows the management of function-blocks that can be organized in libraries ; several standard libraries are also available to support further development.
Through the simulating function it's possible to test the programming code from the PC and make a check before loading it into the device.
