REMOTE CONTROL OF PUMPS AND PUMPING STATIONS

In the management of waterworks the distance between pumps and tanks or reservoirs to be monitored is a crucial point, since it doesn't allow to arrange a cabled network between the units. For this kind of application we suggest devices of the WE15X or WE11X families. Two devices will be used to communicate with each other: the first is configured to monitor the water level inside the tank, while the second controls and activates the pump.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

Deployed near the reservoir, the first device reads the fluid level through standard level sensors or floaters. Once the preconfigured critical threshold is crossed, the device sends a notification through the selected messenger program to the second device, located near the pump. The latter, once identified the number of the first device, starts the in- or out-flow operations through the relevant relay available on board, and sends a notification to the operators, to confirm the successful execution of the command.
