Using Nethix devices to control lifting and skidding machinery allows faults and anomalies to be detected and solved without requiring on-site intervention. It's also possible to acquire all key operating parameters and send them to an external platform (Nethix Cloud or other), making them available as charts and tables accessible from any PC or device.
WE500+ communicates via Modbus RTU (or TCP/IP) protocol with the inverters that control the crane's movements. Using its integrated modem or network interface, it can establish an internet connection for remote assistance. WE500+ can also create a VPN connection to a server (Nethix Cloud or third-party) to ensure secure, private communication between the operator and the plant. Once connected, the operator can adjust parameters like limit switches and acceleration values for the three main movements: lifting, rotating, and skidding. This allows each crane to be customized for specific requirements, e.g., adjusting acceleration in windy locations. In addition to opening a communication channel with the inverters, WE500+ actively collects all main operating parameters such as:
After collecting the parameters, WE500+ can send them to Nethix Cloud (or another platform), enabling centralized data collection from all installations. The data can be visualized as charts or tables and exported at any time.
