Nowadays remote control devices are frequently integrated on solar or photovoltaic plants in order to keep the system monitored.
Thanks to its flexibility and modularity WE500+ allows to acquire all main parameters of the photovoltaic plants and offers different solutions according to the specific requirements of the plants and of the customer.
In some plants it’s necessary to acquire the current value of the string control without interfering with the configuration: in such cases “smart” TA are installed, complete with RS485 communication interface, able to deliver the acquired data to WE500+ using the communication protocol Modbus RTU.
As an alternative Nethix can develop customized I/O boards for combiner boxes, able to acquire hundreds of parameters, that are then read by the controller WE500+ through serial port.
WE500+ can be connected directly to the inverters, available on the plant, in order to read all main parameters, using open or proprietary communication protocols.
Independently from the modality used to acquire the parameters, WE500+ can process the collected data in order to notify faults or malfunctions of the single strings or discrepancies between the different lines. This allows to detect immediately any possible defect, that requires a prompt maintenance or repair action, and to calculate the real economies and energy savings achieved by the plant.
On request the collected data can be sent to specialized Clouds, in order to have a centralized management, control and monitoring of the data on one single platform.
